Over the weekend of July 18–21, Central Squash held their District Super Champs competition, with club teams from across the region battling for the honour of representing Central at Nationals.
Kawaroa Park Squash Club proudly entered five teams.
In E grade men and women, C grade men and women and B grade men.
The C grade women, playing at Waitara Squash Club, faced tough opposition from Okato, Ohakune and Palmerston North’s Squash Gym.
After some hard‑fought matches, the team came out on top and secured their place at the National Championships in Otago this September, where they’ll face another challenging draw.
Meanwhile, the B grade men, competing at Hunterville Squash Club, also claimed victory with three strong wins over Waitara, Squash Gym and Ohakune.
Their success earns them a trip to Timaru in September to contest the Nationals.
Kawaroa Park Squash Club is super proud of all five of its teams who competed with determination and passion.
The club wishes its C grade women and B grade men the very best as they go on to represent Central at the 2025 National Super Champs.
