Netball: Premier netball gearing up for exciting finish

As we go into Week 8 of the 10-week Versatile Taranaki Premier Netball, Tysons Nga Manu Toa and New Plymouth Old Boys are tying on points.

Last year’s Premier 1 Final saw the same Tysons team take back the title from NPOB after beating Straford Eltham 65-50 in a tense final.

New Plymouth Old Boys won the title in 2023, breaking Tysons successful run of 8 consecutive years.

With Tysons having an unbeaten season so far, they are looking strong, although the score was close at 50-47 in their game against NPOB on 29th May. The 2 teams will face each other again on 10th July in Stratford before the Semi-finals on 17^th July at the Hub in Hawera.

The Versatile Premier Netball Finals Day will take place on Saturday 26^th July at TSB Stadium in New Plymouth. Everyone is welcome to attend what should be a great day of Premier netball.
