Netball: New sponsors for premier netball competition

Netball Taranaki are excited to announce Versatile New Plymouth as the new Premier Netball Sponsor for 2025.

Maree Gush and her husband Mike Bishell have owned and operated Versatile New Plymouth since 2014 and are well known in the local community.

Maree has always had a real passion for netball. She played in Bell Block as a young girl, was president of the Inglewood Country Netball Club for a number of years, helping set up the first futureFERNS sessions in Inglewood when her children were young and has continued to play herself. She currently plays, coaches and umpires for Tukapa Netball Club and volunteers on their committee.

Maree is excited to be able to support the sport she loves.

The Versatile New Plymouth Premier Netball season kicks off with Preseason Day on Sunday 27 April 2025 at the Hub in Hawera.

Game nights begin Thursday 1st May with Premier 1 and 2 playing on a Thursday evening, Premier 3 playing on a Friday evening.
