Rangers secure big win against Hawera

Yorb Taranaki Men’s Premiership – Round 9
This round Rampage Fitness FC Western welcomed Hawera Kitchens Ltd Hawera FC with the home side, proving to be very strong with a 7-0 win. 2nd on the table Peggy Gordons NP Rangers AFC took on TMT Building Ltd Mutoroa AFC. Opening the scoring for Rangers was Zavier Brown in the 29th minute, which looked to be enough for the home side until a late goal from Dawson Webber in the 78th minute saw the match end with 1-1 draw. Premier Heating NPBHS 1st XI welcomed top of the table NZ Forestry Peringa United Premiers to Webster field. The young home side being first to score with a goal from Fergus Young in the 5th minute. However, the away side proved to be too strong with a 5-2 win.
MEN’S FEDERATION LEAGUE – ROUND 9:
On a cold winters evening at the Arena Manawatu Turf Watson Integrity Marist took on ALH Gisborne Thistle. The home side bouncing back from last weeks defeat with a clinical performance thanks to a Hattrick from Mason Charlton as well as a brace from Adam Cowan as they secured a comfortable 6-1 win.
At Taradale Park Shani’s Taradale hosted Bayley’s Palmerston North United. United made it back-to-back wins as they continued their form in front of goal. A Benjamin Mori Hattrick and a Ryan McDermott brace key contributors as the visitors claimed 7-1 win on the road.
WOMEN’S FEDERATION LEAGUE – ROUND 7:
Excel Refrigeration Moturoa AFC made it five wins from as many matches with a 5-0 victory over Havelock North. Chantal Williams and Fernanda Toscani picking up braces along the way.
At Memorial Park in Palmerston North One Staff Marist Reserves ran into a rampant Atlas New Plymouth Rangers. Jasmine Burnard-Leppinus with a Hattrick of goals and Sasha Rasmussen with Brace of goals as the Visitors claimed a comfortable 6-0 win as they move into second place on the ladder.
Taranaki Men’s Championship – Round 10
Cross Country Rentals NPBHS 2nd XI took on Western Autos Moturoa AFC. Oliver Hill opened the scoring for Moturoa in the 20th minute, going on to score two more goals in the 62nd and 75th minute, completing his hat trick and giving the away side the win 3-2. At Karo Park Inglewood AFC welcomed Peringa United. The home side netted 4 goals to come out on top, with a consolation goal from Peringa in the 81st minute making the score 4-1. Top of the table Millwards Roofing FC Western continued their winning streak winning 3-1 against Trafficr NP Rangers AFC.
Taranaki Men’s Division 1 – Round 10
Only three games this week in Division 1. Smith and Sons Eltham AFC welcomed Moturoa AFC Div1 to Taumata Park. Looking to be a close game in the first half, the home side the only team to score with a a goal from Jason Southey in the 14th minute. Eltham capitalised on their lead, scoring 4 more goals to win 5-0. Over at Merrilands Domain, Shining Peak NP Rangers AFC Oddbodz took on Wonder Minerals Kaponga SC. Kaponga only conceding one goal in the first half, however the home side came out strong in the second half netting another 3 goals to win 4-0. Top of the table CG Office Furniture FC Westerm Flaming Wolverines welcomed Taranaki Thru Tubing NP Rangers AFC. Wolverines opening the scoring with a goal from Adam Groen in the 31st minute looking like the side were going to take the win. However they couldn’t hold off the Rangers side with Luke Anderson scoring in the 80th minute to end the game in a 1-1 draw.
Taranaki Men’s Division 2 – Round 9
Marty Suchy Harcourts FC Western welcomed Egmont Texturers NP Rangers AFC. Western were the first to score in both halves Conor Ebert in the 35th minute and Seth Chard in the 70th minute. The side looking likely to take the win, but a brace from Dean Cumberledge in the final ten minutes saw the two sides ending in a well fought draw 2-2. Withers Coachlines FDMC Senior Team took on McDonald Real Estate Stratford AFC. Michael Brimelow broke the deadlock in the final minutes of the first half with a quick brace, ultimately helping Stratford take the win, 3-0. Top of the table Pipeline Peringa United had the challenge of playing Webber Building Kaitake FC HBs. The away side opened the scoring through David Gilmour, however Peringa quickly equalized with a goal in the 45th minute from Mark Hodson. Both teams played a strong second half with David Gilmour scoring his second goal in the final 10 minutes of the match, giving Kaitake the win over top of the table Peringa.
Taranaki Men’s Division 3 – Round 10
Paul Hamlin Builders Eltham AFC took on Waitara SC Div3 at Taumata Park where the two teams couldn’t be split, sharing the spoils in a 3-3 draw. Rob Mason Electrical Group Woodleigh FC welcomed Orchard Contracting Ltd Hawera FC to Sutherland Park. The current leaders continued their run of form winning 4-0. Peringa United Socials kept their second place spot this week with a 1-1 draw against Stratford AFC Reserves. Moturoa AFC Div3 won 3-0 against Inglewood AFC Div3
Taranaki Womens Premiership – Round 9
Equipfix Peringa United Ladies took on Eltham AFC Ladies premiership the home side proving to be strong competitors in a 6-0 win. Hipp Accounting LTD Hawera FC took a trip away to Swansea Park, bringing the 3 points home with them in a 1-0 win over Tungsten Legal Stratford AFC. Offshore Plumbing Services Waitara SC welcomed HEL Rimu NP Rangers Development played a tightly contested game neither team able to break this ending in 1-1 draw. Withers Coachlines Moturoa AFC Women continued their winning ways winning 4-1 away from home against the home side NPGHS.
