Alpha Sports premier cricketers will play a double header this weekend with rounds two and three played on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Round two will see Inglewood take on Hawera away. Both teams were impressive winners in round one and a victory in this contest will see either team remain in the top four.
Woodleigh will host Stratford after both sides tasted defeat in round one and neither team will want to start the season zero and two.
Cricket is back at Lynmouth Park after pitch renovations last season with New Plymouth Marist United (NPMU) playing host to Francis Douglas (FDMC).
A young New Plymouth Boys’ High School (NPBHS) side will face New Plymouth Old Boys (NPOB) at the school ground looking to put up a decent performance.
Round three will kick off with NPOB taking on Hawera at Western Park while NPMU will host NPBHS at Lynmouth Park.
With Karo Park block not quite ready Inglewood will travel into the city to go head-to-head with Woodleigh at Sutherland Park.
The final game of round three between Stratford and FDMC will be played at a later date due to FDMC being involved in an interschool fixture.
All games start at 11am.
