Netball: Bayleys continues partnership with Netball Taranaki

With the Netball Taranaki Premier League fast approaching it is great to have Bayleys Taranaki back on board as major sponsor for the fourth year.

General Manager of Bayleys Taranaki, Luke Conroy, is excited to continue supporting netball in the region;

“As a community-focused organisation, we are proud to wholeheartedly support the growth and development of the Bayleys Premier Netball Series. This is a true testament to our commitment to fostering camaraderie, healthy competition, and the overall well-being of our community members.”

Bayleys Premier Preseason Day last Sunday in Hawera saw the teams battle it out in a show of skill and determination before the season officially kicks off on Thursday 18th April. With 18 teams registered across Premier 1.2 and 3 the teams will play Thursday and Friday evenings at 5 indoor locations around the mountain.

2023 saw New Plymouth Old Boys take the Premier 1 title from Tysons, after a 13-year reign. Te Paepae o Aotea have also joined the Premier 3 league increasing the number of Secondary Schools teams playing to 3.

Bayleys Taranaki are also excited to continue supporting the ‘Shoot to Win’ initiative which started last year and got the children out on court during half-time to have some fun.

Interested in supporting our local premier teams? Spectators are welcome on game nights, $5 for adults, $2 for children or you can purchase a season concession pass for $40 per person.
